A silver 2018 Chevy Bolt EV is driving along a highway after leaving a used car dealership.

If you have been searching for used car dealerships in your area, then you have landed in the right place. Here at Richard Lucas Chevrolet, we take great pride in our used vehicle selection, but our favorite used models all have the Chevy nameplate. That is because used Chevy vehicles are high-quality options that will provide you with reliable service for years to come.

Over the years, Chevy vehicles have been awarded many coveted titles. There are so many awards to go through that we could write a book on the subject. For the sake of this article, we will cover the most highly-sought-after awards for ten of Chevy’s most popular models.
#1 – The Used Chevy Bolt EV
As the only fully electric vehicle in the Chevy lineup, the Bolt EV is already quite remarkable. With a driving range of up to 259 miles on a single charge, it can save you tons of money on gas. In 2017, the Bolt was named both the North American Car of the Year and the Motor Trend Car of the Year. It was ranked as the 2017 Green Car of the Year by the Green Car Journal, and the IIHS also rated it as a Top Safety Pick for 2017, 2018, and 2019.
In 2018, the Bolt earned the Best Resale Value: Electric from Kelley Blue Book. It even scored a 5-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA. So, if you thought that electric vehicles couldn’t be safe, think again! The 2019 models scored the same overall safety rating, so we recommend purchasing a used Chevy Bolt from 2018 or 2019.
